Golf Lessons

Looking to improve your game, make adjustments to your swing, or are new to golf and would like to learn the ins and outs? If so, we invite you to take a lesson with teaching professional Marissa Kulig Crow.

Up until recently, Marissa taught lessons at our location, but in 2025, she took a position as a teaching professional at Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, MA. We are currently looking for a new coach to teach lessons in our simulator. However, in the meantime, we invite you to take lessons with Marissa at Twin Hills CC and welcome you to come back and practice with us at Cottage Street Golf. While non-members can take lessons at Twin Hills, they cannot play the course, or use the practice facilities or simulator.

Marissa has been in the golf industry for 30 years in every position from Greenskeeper, to Head Golf Professional to General Manager.  Teaching the game is what Marissa does best, and has proven that from 2013 to 2023 by creating and growing the largest women’s golf program in the country, with 1500+ ladies going through the program each season.  Residing in Westfield, MA with her husband and 8 year old son, she commuted to Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT when she built this women’s program. In 2021, Marissa was named the LPGA National Teacher of the Year, in 2022 the LPGA National Professional of the Year and most recently was named to the 2024-2025 LPGA Best Teachers list.  She is now running her own business, “Marissa’s Golf Movement” offering golf instruction for people of all ages, as well as special women’s events, golf trips, yoga for golfers & cardiogolf!
