How Does it Work?
What Can I do in the Simulator?
E6 Golf provides a wide variety of playing and practicing modes to challenge you and hone your skills; read on for more information on what you can do or hop over to our FAQ page for answers to even more of your questions.
Play a Course
We have 30+ incredibly realistic courses with a variety of difficulties for you to play. You can choose to play red, white, blue, or black tees and you have control over a number of settings to customize your round, including wind speed, pin placement, fairway hardness, weather conditions, and more. While putting works well in the simulator, it can be a little difficult to master and definitely adds more time to the round, so if you choose to putt, make sure to reserve more time.
If you choose not to physically putt, there are a number of putting modes to choose from including allowing the computer to choose the number of putts based on where you are on the green, or we can set it up so you can manually choose your number of putts after you land on the green.
How long does it take to play?
We recommend no more than 4 people play during a round; otherwise you will likely not finish. However, the price is the same no matter how many people are playing. Generally 18 holes can be played in approximately 2 hours with 2 players, 2 1/2 hours with 3 players, or 3 – 3 1/2 hours with 4 players. Note that it takes longer if you choose to putt. Your time may vary. We recommend NOT putting during your first couple of times playing, until you get the feel for how the system works.
Practice on the Driving Range
The simulated driving range offers quite a number of different options including a standard, flat driving range to challenge you and hone your skills. You can choose from a variety of targeted hitting scenarios, or hit from various positions such as sand, behind a rock or a tree, and so on. You’re bound to find something to help you improve.
After every shot, you’ll get to see each of the parameters provided by the ProTee VX launch monitor to help you continually improve.
Chipping and Putting
Lastly, there are a number of chipping and putting scenarios to choose from, including chipping specific distances. You can also select a green that gives you the power to move the pin anywhere on the green – and the ball different distances on or off the green – to allow you to create your own chipping and putting practice scenarios.
